Tools

Lens compass, Specifically one with a strong, flat end. The pointed ends won't work on some of the lens groups.

A nice set of precission screwdrivers will also go a long way.

Specifically a P0 is required

Set of Wera screwdrivers

Rear half

Remove 4 screws, then pull the aperture ring and attached casing off

Remove the silver and copper spacers

Four more screws, then the macro ring can be pulled off

Now the rear lens group can be removed. Using the lens compass very carefully unscrew the rear group.

Now reaching down deeper into the body remove the second to rear lens group, again with a lens compass.

The two rear lens groups have now been removed.

Front half

The front two need to be approached from the other direction.

To start with you'll need to peel back the rubber on the focusing ring

Once you've got it off you should see a bunch of screws and copper plates.

You'll want to remove the two copper plates close to the front of the lens.

Underneath there's 2 sliders, remove both.

After that you should be able to unscrew the front group

I removed the 3 little screws used to adjust the focus, I don't recommend doing so, but that's why there's two separate rings taken out in the photo below

Lens with the front group removed

Now you can clean the back of the front group!

The next group can be taken out with a lens compass.

Second to front group

Past this I'm not sure how to proceed further.

You can remove the 4 screws near the front, and remove the copper plate

Twist the focusing ring around till this screw shows itself, remove the screw.
